Boy oh boy do we have a recipe for you! these brownies are light on the tummy and packed full of carob goodness. Let's get straight to it - recipe is below the pic!
6 tbsp organic grass fed butter or butter replacement of your choice
1 tbsp carob organic buttons
2 large eggs or 2 large flax eggs
3 tbsp organic raw granulated sugar
1/4 - 1/2 Cup organic unbleached plain flour
1 tsp allergy free baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2tbsp raw or roasted Organic carob powder
Pre-heat the oven to 160 degrees Centigrade fan-forced.
Place the butter and carob buttons in a stainless steel or glass bowl and melt together over a pot of boiling water. Remove from heat. Place the sugar and eggs in a bowl, whisk, then pour in the butter mixture. Combine well. Sift in the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Lastly add the carob powder and mix well. Pour mixture into a small brownie tin, and place into the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
