In Ayurveda toxins are called Ama and this can build up. When this build up becomes too much, the body's systems weaken and disease becomes prevalent. Creating space within your mind body and spirit can help you prevent and maintain a balanced and healthy system. In order to create this space, Lesley has created the seasonal detox that is held twice per year so that your body can transition smoothly into the following seasons without carrying residual Ama.

We sometimes think of the digestive tract as just our stomach and intestines. There is so much more to it! When food is consumed, the digestive tract moves it through 13 different processes completed by organs like the tongue, esophagus, pancreas, and so much more.
In Ayurveda, having poor digestion doesn't just mean that you're having "tummy troubles". In fact, there are 3 different types of undesirable digestive states that you my be in. These are: Visham, Tikshna and Mandagni.
In the video below, our practitioner, Lesley, runs through all three of these states and some of the things you can do to bring the balance back to your gut.
