We're about to head into our six monthly seasonal Detox to cleanse and reset our body, mind and space for vibrant longevity.
Our detoxers know their body is refining as they grow older in years, they've felt what it's like to have optimal Agni (metabolism) in deeper tissues like their muscles and nerves, away from the stomach, and with Space to Heal. Listen to hear more about the key factors that lead to aging well.

It's not about the goal, it's about the feeling when you get there.
Desires are natural. Your core desired feelings are your spirits way of communicating it wants to grow towards your vibrant life. Acknowledge the feeling that you know deeply and allow possibility thinking to get you there. When you're happy in that state, that's when your body is healthy. THAT'S living an Ayurvedic lifes where Body-Mind-Environment are aligned in easeful living.
We have goal setting backwards! If we start 'trying to live healthier' by doing things we hear or read or are told to do, we're not likely to keep it up for long enough to get the potential results. Acting on what's imposed on you is never as fulfilling as satisfying your core needs and wants is it?
I believe you know what you need to do to feel better in your body. Use these excerpts from the Bold Freedom method to begin reverse planning your health goals. It's the way to FEEL better:
TIPS as you use the method above:
I love figuring things out. I search for the deepest truth and the most streamlined way which uses our precious resources of time and energy well. I enjoy developing systems for working. It might be the Auditor in me, yes I was an Auditor as my first job.

Your Agni is your digestive ability - it keeps you alive and well.
One of the most important concepts in Ayurveda is that of AGNI (Digestive ability) the fire in your belly and even in your deeper body tissues, like your muscle metabolism. Agni is even present when sounds are processed from your ears to your brain!
The quality and ability of Agni is fundamental to your healthy life. It makes nutrients available from the food you eat and processes every substance coming into your system through your five senses. If you can't deal with what's coming in completely and eliminate the waste, then Ama, toxic residue or pathogens, are left behind. This is where disease begins. Let's take a look at the state of your belly fire, Jatharagni..

We're already well into Spring! I was suffering from winter stagnation (Procrastination) But you know what? This is perfect timing as Spring detoxes are best started in October. You can't wake the winter bear with a shock of juicing and fasting. It's too cold and raw straight out of winter.
Spring is the season of growth and renewal. Birth and new beginnings. The emotions that come up though can be one of frustration at things not happening fast enough or in the way you want. There is a bit of aggression in the air as the winter pot is stirred by the winds of Spring. Issues that have been percolating during winter can come up to the surface to be dealt with. Also a lot of animals are protecting their young and you can sense their aggressive energy. Magpies are a great example of this;-)
The element involved in spring is the wood element. It has a wonderful expansive and creative energy that needs to be expressed without restrictions. Just like a tree needs to spread its roots and branches.
Restrictions come in all sorts of sizes and packages and we have a lot of them around us at any given time. That’s why diets suck so much and why I am not particularly a fan. But what about Spring Detoxes??
What about them? Are they necessary?
One of the secrets to finding more free time in your day is to create space - physical space and head space! Start with when you eat dinner. Eating dinner before the sun goes down fits in with how your body was designed to function best. Ayurveda teaches us to design a daily routine for ourselves based on natural principles called Dinacharya.
My family benefits when I follow Ayurvedic Dinacharya, especially eating early lighter dinners. It's a key habit for us and so much rolls on from there. Me eating early sometimes means we don't all eat together. Yet I find I'm more available for the later eaters because I'm relaxed with dishes done after a one pot meal and the whole evening is available to enjoy in connection and winding down from the day.
So much is possible in a happy, streamlined way when you know how to use your resources (time, energy, money) and have good people around you. The method is Bold Freedom and I wrote a book about it. You can drop what doesn't serve you well and stop going in circles trying to find the answers you actually know inside.
📖✍️ Bold Freedom the book, the method, to find more time to live well - for a clear head, more energy and happy gut, is almost read to go to print! Section three of four is back from the editors.
